What do I need to know about Church?
When & where does the church meet?
Our main Sunday gathering starts at 10:00
We meet in our St Thomas' Centre venue close to the city centre: -
229 Lancaster Road North
It helps to get there 10 minutes early to get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start. Check out our
Connect page for location map.
What to expect when I visit the church?
You can expect to feel at home.
We have three main parts to our gatherings; lively worship, relevant and challenging messages and authentic community, usually with a coffee or two.
Will I feel uncomfortable?
Not at all!
We will be welcoming, and you will not be forced to do anything you are not comfortable doing, in fact, you don't have to do anything at all. Just come and be yourself. We want you to feel right at home and enjoy your church experience.
We are an inclusive community and you are welcome.
Is there a dress code?
What happens for the kids at church?
We have a fantastic programme for the kids at church. Children stay with parents for the first part of the meeting and then our host will make it clear where and when our various children’s programmes are starting.
Children can expect to have fun playing games, and learning about God in a relavant way.
Is St. Thomas' Centre accessible?
There are no steps or stairs from the street into our main meeting area, there are plenty of accessible small meeting rooms and there are accessible toilets available on the ground floor too.
How do I ask something that isn't listed?
We'd love to hear from you, so please feel free to call the office to ask one of our team, or leave a message: 01772 563697. Alternatively you can email the church office firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions you have and we will be happy to help you.
